HH/1 - HEIRLOOM
MACHINE QUILTING
Closed
Unique
machine quilting techniques that turn quilt tops into heirlooms in a
fraction of the time it takes to hand quilt will be taught. The class
begins with a lecture filled with valuable information so that the student
knows what to expect, how to avoid pitfalls, how to prepare the quilt
top to quilt, work space, threads, needles, etc. Hands-on exercises
will be used to develop machine-quilting skills, from walking foot,
ditch quilting, to free motion feathers. Harriet is a master at teaching
students “how to learn to machine quilt.”
